Worldcoin is a pretty interesting experiment. Scan your iris and access a global identity and financial network. 

Would be interesting to see Meta go this direction. Scan the iris using VR/glasses, and issue soulbound tokens hashed to an iris. Prove you’re human, enter the metaverse.

Probably unlikely. But what if?

I think that many people would be reluctant to trust Meta given their record of privacy and trust issues

I'd rather save my iris for something super ultra important. Feels early to lose something like that to unthinkable zero days.

Cool, but that only works until AI can generate organically viable variations of synthetic irises.
