I'd love to use a bank with a modern security stack that required TOTP or Yubikey 2FA vs. phone confirmation to move money. Coinbase could do this with USDC, but would require a long grind through getting all the fiat integrations. https://warpcast.com/nir/0x73f837

it is INSANE that not one of my million traditional financial institutions supports yubikeys yet. Truly bringing up the rear in digital security

Most banks offer this. Is the ux diff of a yubikey that significant?

Bank of America has started to support Yubikeys/FIDO2 on some sensitive operations. Unfortunately, Schwab & Fidelity both use Symantec's proprietary (read: crap) TOTP solution.

Personal smartcard-based signing devices have been standard issue by Swedish banks since like 2005. Nowadays most people use a certificate on their phone to sign transactions and log in.
