Beyond your muscles temporarily retaining more water, it has been shown to have beneficial effects to one’s mentality state.

Yeah. Hardhainer here, and creatine is the only thing that’s ever allowed me to push through to new weight floors. Water weight goes away after you stop, but your new floor remains.

Long time ago. Makes your muscles swell. Doesn't necessarily improve strength.

Mostly increases your water retention which = you look more swole. There are also benefits if you take a week off from training, but you continue to take creatine you will notice your gains dwindle at a much slower rate. Look up the ATP - CP system as well to learn more about how our bodies utilize creatine.

Started chewing some gummies a few months ago. Have felt like recovery time improved and less sore. Which is a plus for me. Haven’t noticed any severe side effects.

One of the most researched supplements on the market. Buy from a good source and you’ll be alright. Energy (ATP synthesis) is one benefit. You’ll also increase body water holdings in your muscles.
