Facebook had one of the most insane Product Market Fits in the history of humanity.

I’m seeing something similar with ChatGPT right now. So many people find a use case, almost anyone, no matter what they do, has use case for it

Wouldn’t this be the “face mash” version? That’s not product market fit that’s just a viral meme that typically will putter out after a short time (and it did).

It was crazy sticky. It is worth noting though (imo) that the Facebook app wasn’t the product - user data and ad space were. The app was a crucial part of a product strategy for capturing commercial market share. 

Ofc this statement hinges upon “product” defined as a good or service customers pay for.
