What is the brand of the single most comfortable T-Shirt you own? Not the best looking or your favorite, strictly the most comfortable. For me it’s J Crew.

At one point in time jcrew made these $70 or $80 t-shirts. It was a super splurge but, but for me they were the best colors, the beast fit, and the best comfort. Lasted like 5 or 6 years of continued wear…now I can’t find them anywhere When I find something I like, I buy multiples now.

Marine Layer tees are really nice. Super soft, they don't shrink in the dryer. https://www.marinelayer.com/products/signature-printed-pocket-tee-dark-denim?variant=40230928023626

In 2015 I got a sample blank tee with no tag while starting BoxLunch. No clue of brand or material still searching today and also still wearing that tee.

Vuori Strato tech tee for me. It’s synthetic so it works well for gym/hiking too

Through 15 comments and counting I can confidently conclude there is zero power law dynamic when it comes to comfortable t shirts. It’s just one giant long tail.

i’ve tried answering this question for years + i’ve narrowed it down to 2 james perse: thin, soft cotton that’s nice enough to wear under a jacket lululemon: pure comfort, and workout ready

My most comfortable ones have lanes so faded from being washed over the years that I don’t even know where they came from. ❤️
