Looks like we're on the same wavelength. Our macOS app has WalletConnect 1.0 integrated, tested with MetaMask and Rainbow and it works. However, we're now stuck waiting for the update to 2.0. To make matters worse, the Swift SDK for 2.0 is still very new.

oh my I’m so hype to check this out haven’t found many people building native MacOS dApps I just got 2.0 implemented (had to fork the package and make some changes) and happy to help you there :) sent you a DM!
