Reminder to check your database's index utilization stats every now and then. A lot of the indexes we used just 6 months ago were longer used and were just wasting space. Did the quarterly refresh and most of them fell out fashion almost as fast as effective altruism.

DataDog has good PG metrics, pganalyze goes more in depth. It's good to review on a periodic basis. New versions of PG improved indexes, I've seen big improvements after upgrading and reindex concurrently.
