that dad the way he treated his child was my childhood. without the poop. had a profound impact on me and made me see my father differently. i ran away from home at 15 and never came back.

I'm being flippant but it was a very powerful scene in an already excellent movie. And, yeah... I feel you on that. I also left home early and never returned, largely because of my father.

And I experienced something similar with piano when I was 10. My dad would double my practicing time if I made a mistake, one time I practiced piano for 8 hours in one day LOL
