5. Something that would bring all around the table together, that will make them share. Not just the food, but stories, jokes, fun, laughter, love. At a dinner party, the food should be great, but not be the star of the party. The people should be.
1 It's not really about family recipes, but I would make something I can make really well - cooking for a party is already hard enough. Chance are it's gonna be exotic (ie. my broccoli pasta) https://warpcast.com/antimofm.eth/0x97a0cfa2
4. Exotic can be replicated - truly unique (1/1 if we want to be pretentious about it) cannot.
4. I'd do something original but would check-in with guests in advance to make sure it's something they are down for.
4- Not professionals should not improvise dishes with guests. Some professionals neither.
1 on behalf of my fiancee who would handle the cooking in this scenario Assuming our guests are open to it -- jollof rice and pepper soup, staples of West African cuisine
1 Friends are always impressed with my mom’s Punjabi dishes…though I almost certainly can’t do them justice
3 to play it safe since everyone in my life is crazy picky with food for some reason
3 something everyone will like and easy to make. chicken parm comes to mind
4. Is better to go with smth you know but I also like to experiment so really depend on the guests tho. For example when I cooked for my in-laws first time, I went for pasta and chicken parmigiano. You can’t go wrong with it :)
5. I'm hopeless at cooking, so I would try to organize everyone to collaborate on writing a new math paper over dessert. True story, actually 😅
3. Rib-eye steaks with asparagus spears, baked potatoes, and own-recipe peppercorn sauce. No compromises.
5. Haute cuisine dish, due I like to have a challenge as I've done at the XMas Dinner https://warpcast.com/sio.eth/0xcb477c0a
3. Pastitsio (greek, better version of lasagna) - nobody in the history of the world has not licked their fingers when eating it.
