Touring parents from Canada through SF and the Bay Area this weekend. Any top recs?
Always think Chrissy Field / Fort Mason during the sunniest part of the day is really nice. Or Dolores Park earlier before it gets too crowded (esp. with a bite from Tartine).
+1 on all the northern sf recommendations for walking, views are really crazy walking through the most usual streets
- Japanese Tea Garden + Golden Gate Park - Land's End - Muirwoods - Fisherman's Wharf + Ghiradelli Square - Fort Mason - So many good restaurants! Happy to share my list - Computer Science Museum in Mountain View is cool Trying to remember what my parents enjoyed when they visisted
You can bike across GGB and take the ferry back from Sausalito if they’re up for it
Based on what you said your parents like: - Lands End (my top rec in SF) - Tennessee Valley Trail - Muir Woods - San Francisco Botanical Garden - Favorite restaurant in SF is Beit Rima
