I do have the time and budget for something like hello fresh, but I want to reduce shopping waste as much as possible and also try to shop local Though I agree that something like hello fresh is the best ramp up to actually start cooking regularly
Something I think other people forget about HelloFresh is that since they give you the recipe cards, you can keep them forever. If there's something that you really really like that you made one week, you could go out and buy the ingredients yourself and recreate it at home.
I think I'm just getting nerd sniped into trying to create the pantry/fridge equivalent of a capsule wardrobe, where a minimal set of ingredients and recipes can be deployed for quick and varied meals that are still high quality, nutritious and tasty
