I really like farcaster. The decline of twitter has allowed me to deprioritize social media in general. I should reproritize places I like.
The best part is Farcaster has made me not miss twitter much. So I spend time here until I’m bored, and then I usually just skip twitter and go outside instead.
I look forward to open algorithms for curated content. I would like to de-prioritize "social media", yet at the same time I want to stay up to date on topics I'm interested in. Ideally some ML algorithm should be able to curate content, eventually, to a degree which the only notifications rec'd are ones I care about.
Im not overly active on farcaster but anytime I come on I’m encouraged to be more present and think vs the mindlessness of doom scrolling X
