Is it really that bad? The books were quite okay. But I got used to the fact that all shows rn SUCK so bad I canāt even watch anything any more. Where are all the talented writers? š„²š„²š„²
I enjoyed season 1 more than season 2, but I wouldnāt say itās the most stupid show. Itās got some serious merits, even if itās cheesy at times (but what sci-fi isnāt?). Hard to nail the scale of such wacky ideas. The drama is āgalacticā, spanning centuries (genetic dynasty?). I dig it.

Totally agree. Books were great. Books were about individuals not actually making a difference in the course of history. Series is about 5 people forming the history of the Galaxy. Book was about science, series is about metaphysics.
But for entertainment ( put aside the logic) it's worth watching.
Every other month or so, I think about starting it and and rewatch the trailer. And every time, it's nope.
