I’m at 16 for the year and honestly behind because it took me like 8 weeks to slog through the boring middle of “Seeing Like A State” 

For me I get through so many books bc I’m already fast reader and it’s what I gravitate towards with legit all my leisure time lol

i think i'm a super slow reader and just like reading a lot. My wife doesnt read as often but she'll find a book she likes and read it in one sitting or in a couple of days. We end up reading a similar amount of books each year. I also tend to read a lot more non-fiction which usually takes longer
