What are your favorite plain-text/simple/spartan personal sites? P.S I think @dwr and I might have first bonded over this.

Certainly not the best of the bunch, but my personal plain text site has come in handy for me before when I’m trying to remember quotes/anecdotes (has been this design since 2012): http://zachwill.com

I geek a lot on this, some of my favourites through the years: - https://macwright.com - https://zachholman.com - https://warpspire.com - https://paulstamatiou.com - https://craigmod.com And my own personal site (it's so outdated): - https://matall.in

Feels like the standard here should be site looks/works the same with JavaScript and css disabled. Bonus points for marquee or blink tags.

https://www.berkshirehathaway.com Not sure what's the best part of this: • Postal address at the top • GEICO ad at the bottom • Suggestion to write to them by mail with comments on the website, although “we are unable to provide a direct response”

we recently made our personal investing site at miy.com minimal to save on hosting fees (inspired by polychain) 👀
