Convince me why I’m wrong: We have no idea if supplements work or not

Which one? Supplements is a super broad category that can range from caffeine to TRT

We have a good sense of a few that work (eg creatine), and lots that people pay for that we don’t have conclusive evidence that do anything. In general, supplements are more useful for covering gaps in your diet, which many people have these days. examine.com is the best resource for info on individual supplements

You are correct. But this is one yum I never yuck because of the power of placebo 🤷🏼‍♀️

placebo is too powerful, but if paying $100/mo gets you the dosage of placebo you need ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Incorrect (luckily). Many supplements are well studied to have effects with a dose/response ratio. Examples: - creatine = power - DHA over 1500mg a day for cognitive enhancement - theanine = anxiety reduction in caffeine sensitive people (yours truly) I guess it depends on your definition of supplement.
