The issue of interoperability remains. The entire benefit of public key based messaging should be that you're not locked into a specific platform (sort of like email)—unless ofc MM's approach is adopted elsewhere but that's not certain

maybe did:pkh? cuz the most widely adopted consumer key management app seems to be wallets
