how have you been distributing your farcaster invites? do you ask people why they want to join? just send them an invite? make them go through a rigorous interview process? šŸ˜…šŸ˜‚

Adjusting my process rn as none of my invites turned into active users I care about this community and will do a better job of finding the right fit for this stage of FC

I sort of intimate that I don't just hand out invites to everyone. If that puts them off I know they're not really interested, if they persist they get one but then I don't feel bad pestering them to make sure they sign up before expiration.

I invited someone who I didn’t know before, and asked for a short intro. The invite turned into an active user.

No claim of having figured this out… I optimize for most interesting to me. ie Who do I want to interact w here? Not so much caring how active they are on others platforms. I know when they do chime in it’s gonna be thought provoking.

I had two friends who said they were interested, I asked ā€œwill you actually use it?ā€, they said yes, and I sent! Though I don’t recommend this strategy because I’m not sure it worked very well.
