Received my Sol reader this week and it’s one of the coolest products I’ve used in years (since Eight sleep, maybe?) Still very early, prototype-ish feel, but if you read a lot, it’s worth trying! Super immersive experience, but in a way that helps focus vs takes away from the content https://solreader.com
Are they comfortable when laying down in bed and can you move around or do you need to be still?
Something about this I don’t vibe with the branding I feel like I’m stuck in 2017
Thank you, had no idea this existed; and I really hate kindle UX at this point
Is there anyway to highlight or take notes with it? That has been my biggest reservation as I don't see anything about highlighting on the website.
interesting. How is the support for folks with vision impairment? Are those diopters in the glasses?
How do these feel when you're on a pillow? I tried the nreal air but they kinda hurt my ears if I'm laying down. If they're comfy I might give these a shot, e-readers are great but I tend to have to shuffle around to avoid my hands going to sleep 🙈
I like how many comments are about more detail or picky, tells me this may have potential!
Is there any reason someone can’t build an oculus app that does this? Would rather use hardware I already have
Intriguing. How comfortable 1-10 would you rate them, and how comfortable 1-10 would you rate the most comfortable trad glasses/sunglasses you own?
Always curious about VR/AR glasses, do you get eye strain while using these? I felt cross eyed after a bit when I used my friend's oculus
Omg. Do they work if you wear glasses? Do you even need to wear glasses if you're reading that close to your face?
