For me, the previous politicians have talked a big game on housing and helping the poor but have done nothing but block housing at every turn to line their own pockets / real estate portfolios. So i’m for change, period.

Also, I don’t think drug tourism is good, and I don’t like that SF is the capital of it.

I hate to break it to you, but no one is gonna do anything on housing aside from give tax subsidies to developers. As long as money controlls elections and housing is an investment instrument no one is gonna change anything. 

That leaves using the police to displace the homeless as the option going forward.
