Fast forward a few years, what does a fully realized (fast, cheap, secure) solution for “microtransactions” specifically for web3 gaming look like?

Say I have a wallet that supports multiple chains (wallet term itself could be abstracted away, username with web3 backend). Wallet balance topped up with USDC as needed. For every microtransaction, platform automatically converts my USDC into native token of chain at time of purchase.
