I’d say Taleb is pretty forward.

I recently discovered Popper‘s Open Society through Taleb which is very interesting to me.

Another interesting corner is the generification/innovation of value systems; what many SV types are talking about these days: @pmarca in MoZ2, @balajis in the Network State

I think anything embracing sex more is very cutting edge too: Foucault, everything gender debate related and psychology

Another one I saw Glen Weyl & @vbuterin talk about: Powersharing Libertarianism; e.g. through encoding ethics in software (via Michael Freedman‘s talk at Schellingpount in Bogota): I‘d classify that as Effective Altruism

More cutting edge: Everything accelerationist, so backtracking from the enlightenment towards more progress-creating structures. Peter Thiel‘s Straussian Moment is a great read regarding politics and apocalpyse. Lol I‘m kinda surprised I know so much about this 😅

There’s something called “Masculinities”; basically understanding mens’ issues and why they happen, ie suicide rate, more violent forms of suicide etc.

These recommendations… More cutting edge but still not sure if totally there: - Speculative Realism/OOO - Radical Markets / Georgism (if people are going to suggest Taleb…) - Salvage / Repair / Green ideologies

How about truth and beauty? Aesthetics surely has something to say about the rise of gen z uglycore through you-do-you.

@balajis has some solid insights.
