Wallets should be browsers first, then wallets. browser 1st: find cool mint on internet, click link that opens browser, hit mint, done. wallet 1st: find cool mint, copy link, open wallet, click browser, paste link, hit mint, done.
i think we need a protocol for wallets that all browsers should adapt so they're like -super-exntesions with their own secure enclave or whatever
I agree! It’s such a hassle to mint when it’s wallet 1st as it is now 400 $DEGEN
Wallets should be social media apps first, then browsers, then wallets 90% of my NFT discovery is on farcaster.
This is why opensea is both super powerful and completely missing a huge opportunity at the same time.
Interesting, I’m not sure I agree. I use Dawn on iOS which is a native extension and that seems best to me. In your example it would work exactly like this, but without the need for another full-on browser. You click mint link, it opens in Safari, click mint and Dawn pops up, approve and mint, go back to browsing.

One of the most frustrating parts of crypto is definitely the wallet ux - i can’t imagine my mom ever using it That’s why I am building a browser solution that will allow you to access anything on bitcoin, ethereum, or solana in 1 click with institutional grade security Then I’ll worry about launching a wallet
All the wallets already exist as browser extensions. So the next step is a browser wallet, then an OS wallet.
Totally. I think it can go even further than being a skeuomorphic browser. Hard to imagine what that would look like tho.
I definitely avoid web surfing in my wallet apps. They need more security to be a full time web browser imho but def would like them to become the norm.
