I’m a Spotify user since it came out. Its search results are still largely irrelevant to my play history and music tastes. If I asked my mom, she’d give more relevant recommendations.

Also why does the “for you” play the same songs over and over again. If I listened to it yesterday, maybe find a new song to put as track #2 on the playlist?

Really? Mine has been on point. Especially the Daily Playlists

yeah, YouTube's recommendations are honestly much better (even for music)

I think most of these features are engineered around users that are later on the adoption curve, so has a chance of being alienating to early users. 

Also old habits die hard - I still don’t use liked songs at all
