Starting to look for something new, ideally a product role. But moving from management consulting after nine years is proving difficult. I’ve been a product leader several times, for major clients, but this doesn’t seem to resonate with hiring teams. Anyone have advice for / experience with this type of move?
I had a similar experience as a data science consultant going to a FTE DS role. Pick and focus your narrative on your product roles and your impact in them Including mentions of everything else you did is a distraction in the interview process
And this is my resume if any product leaders (or otherwise) have rapid feedback!
Worked as a tech recruiter for 3+ years and hired a founding pm + other PMs Happy to chat!
Are you looking for product in web3 specifically or product generally? Do you have an ideal role (vertical, company size, etc)?
hiring processes in this space are super broken atm (imo), but a more visual product portfolio (to go along w/your resume) probably couldn't hurt! esp. if you're looking for more creative product roles...
