agree w rafa, unsolicited comp can be awkward, but if the dao is in agreement i dont see any harm and wilson can just send x% to martin or something else as he see fit
we’re thinking along these lines currently — obv the yc application form is not a perfect analogy but theres inspiration to take from it would love a bigger discussion on this
think we are in agreement wrt what the world lools like today (and nouns place in it) I open a wedge of possible disagreement wrt a future world — my base mode of operation is to expect our tech trajectory (incl agi) to change things in hard-to-predict ways, and that includes things like states and territory
yeah agree, this cast probably came out a bit hyperbolic in order to spark discussion but personally not advocating for a big shift, more of a compromise where we tune down incentives to 95% and optics to 5% instead of simply maximizing incentives

not to be overly argumentative here but i still disagree w this — our ’territory’ is both digital and physical, its just not ’land’ in the classical sense
its true, in one sense its the ~only dao, and in other ways the dao moniker is too constrictive
agree on all points BUT also hope farc/warpcast gets better at notifications/algos — back of my mind im feeling a slight pang of fear of missing stuff
still think excluding meatspace is wrong bc so much of the impactful funding we make have cultural relevance irl and im saying that as a terminally online human hoping to exist in a pure digital form before i die (also half-expect that what we think is base layer reality is not)
