Man -- I need to spend more time in hw. I have a lot of thoughts on the custody models of TEEs and HSMs fwiw. On the "security once compromised can't be recovered" it really depends on the compromise (same as for TEE or other archs) -- generally i think of bad tx submitted vs key compromise as the 2 big threats.

Great question. Check out https://www.privy.io/blog/cloud-based-wallet-recovery-launch: breaks down variations on how Privy helps you secure rec shares for your keys. In auto recovery share is enc with generated entropy tied to your login. arch rather than cryptographic safeguard. Pushing on tradeoffs here.

Integrating embedded wallets with smart accounts is a major unlock! Wrote a bit about it last month -- we are jazzed for the Coinbase Smart Wallet launch in a few weeks. You'll just need to bump your sdk version at launch and you'll be g2g πŸŽ‰ https://docs.privy.io/guide/react/recipes/misc/coinbase-smart-wallets

Been seeing real unlocks as devs unlock the full cycle enabling seamless end to end flows into the app and out. At Privy, we think of funding as a set: onramps, offramps, bridging, gas and minting. Working with great partners here to make devs' lives easier. cc @alexmasmej.eth who has thoughts!

How can iPhone dictation be so bad? I feel like the system has not evolved in years and is noticeably worst than most things I use. Why is this?

πŸ‘Œ- bridging the two is key. Question of where default is is a major part here. Let’s keep shipping together. Please keep feedback coming. Back soon w specs

Yeah I hear you. I’m coming at this from a privacy first perspective (to which there will be onchain solutions over time) but in that sense I think preserving user choice/sovereignty is essential. User control and verifiability is what we optimize for. Onchain provenance is often aligned w that, sometimes not.

Back soon with more. Ultimately I think the two can be chained together to great effect. Onchain interop is superior at maturity I think but (as with everything) there are tradeoffs. Many places to combine them to benefit from both!

Wait lol -- 1) this is dope, 2) how did you end up using the soundtrack from "Les Choristes" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Chorus_(2004_film)) as the bg to this @br1an.eth -- most unlikely crossover ever 😍

I really liked it but I think it just felt like it could be a nice upset win -- I think Past Lives and Poor Things were also great but I saw these as less likely upsets.
