A great question. Likely cause it's a quick dopamine hit, checking off the boxes of the operational tasks. Also, you know exactly what must get done - sometimes a nice contrast from startup life ambiguity.
Unpopular opinion: I love doing all the admin stuff of running a startup (*tho know delegating is most optimal!)
