it simplifies life actually quite a lot, i was balancing different things before, like happiness, work-life, social-life, long-term world impact, now it's simple, increase numba in my walleterino just simply more ETH/fiat/some other shidcoin in my wallet bro

i woke up yesterday and chose to be a profit maxi from now on, no more tech maxi, just profits bro there's quite a difference in way of thought when being profit maxi vs not, you start asking yourself all the time: "will this increase my money numba?" and is very, very useful i think

i just noticed that it's way harder to come up with examples where it's better to be last mover than the first mover.

for example - being early to bitcoin/crypto - being early in a science discovery - being early to finish a marathon race - last mover as a company - last mover in a death game (learn from other ppls mistakes)

being early is quite important, as well as being the last mover quite a good mental model to keep in mind as it seems to apply on almost every aspect in life!

now im a pure profit maxi, until i get rich enough where i don't have to be a profit maxi

12/5/2022

i wouldn't mind if crypto went straight to zero, not married to my bags anymore, and have de-coupled identity from brypto i think this is a healthy change for me, from a personal pov

have you thought about how long you will continue the nomad life for?

how exactly the network states will check identity, is a harder question where there are different approaches too. but i think at least when it's a centralized entity, one can actually start tackling the sybil problem in a reasonable way lol

i think it's a reasonable assumption, although i also believe that something like agi will happen in our lifetimes i think the best hybrid solution will come from network states, some half-centralized solution where you get verified as good as a network state

In reply to @nonlinear

probably if we assume messages between ai and hooman become indistinguishable, would need a way to get over the sybil problem although, and i think this will be a more gated/centralized/hybrid solution than a fully decentarlized one

from a more rigorous perspective, i agree strongly that why is very important but i think OP cast is more of a question statement that might lead to interesting ideas regardless of why
