Whats the chance using Farcaster will make me more productive as a project founder in crypto? 😅
There is no such thing as “truth” in adversarial environments (and markets are inherently adversarial)
What would be a good coffee shop or bakery for a (free) ebook release in Manhattan/Brooklyn? Idea is to give out coffee/pastries & ebook copies Target audience: crypto & normies.
Great, typo in the inaugural cast 😆
I can't believe there was no /impact channel on /farcaster before. Well, know there is. Regens of the world unite!
How do network states fund public infrastructure? 🤔
Greenpill is not just podcast/book, it's a network of local communities (https://greenpill.network/)
The principles are good (mostly?), the term "degrowth" itself is not very appealing though. "Degrowth" sounds like a word that tries to be the opposite of growth (aka "decline")
Alignment > Coordination I said it.
Maybe that's how we shift the narrative (and the landscape)
Right now crypto is like a giant decentralized casino with a few legit projects at the outskirts. No one is gonna onboard 1 billion people into a casino. We need a giant decentralized economy with a casino at the outskirts. More value creation, less inane speculation.
I don't know what's Farcaster's roadmap but I hope at some point down the road it includes onboarding normies. I get the meme of developers vs midwits, but the more isolated we are from "the real world" the less feedback we get on what people actually care about to build in crypto
Impact evaluation for public goods funding requires both data analysis AND strong community alignment. If the community cannot agree on 'what' they value, they will not agree on 'why' they should pay for it
Looking for a market solution to public goods is a dead end. This is what crypto was born for
Which farcaster clients have AI integration (if any)? Was thinking of an AI feature that routes casts to the best/most appropriate channel automatically but maybe that already exists?
Regenerative economics > regenerative finance (and not just as a meme)
Just joined yup! Finally Farcaster and Twitter in one app.
Kinda like the first one tbh
I second that. Censor/filter at the client level. Let people choose what they want content they want to consume. If course if it's something illegal then the client can be liable for allowing that thru, but otherwise empower people with more choices
Well, if you put it that way..
What are the most crypto-friendly cafes in Manhattan/Brooklyn? (either often frequented by crypto-natives or staff is familiar w web3/nfts etc)
