The Arctika recommendation has passed with 99% consensus(151/2) This is a historic moment for the 0L network as we move forward with v7 To commemorate this, we have a free open mint that started when the vote passed and will last for 3 days: https://zora.co/collect/0xe7a57ffac494e3cc5e0fafe5e3929b985bc0782d

Interested in some of the features that will be coming with the v7 release? We will truly be the only grass roots community built and run protocol in the Move ecosystem. Check out these updates!!! ⬇️

Part of it is to stop inflation. Inflation is a deceptive tax on depositors. Users, developers and entrepreneurs coming into the ecosystem should have faith that their stake and work should not be diluted.

We would love to get thoughtful takes on team Arctikas recommendation around moving forward with the v7 upgrade and the economics around it. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1goJ9p6OVlZYlYnX64ZUqTyJ8dszYGcy1Pneqx5sewhs/ Vote: https://discord.com/channels/833074824447655976/965532641304649768/1111003935185043476

(3) The Final Supply is recommended to be 10 Billion tokens. The chart below gives you a before/after look at how this would impact the token balances of the various groups (note the "Before" figures were done a couple of weeks back, so obviously the token supply shown is not current, but the math is solid)

(2) This is achieved through two mechanisms; First, the distribution of the Tip Jar and FTW Wallets to workers (note this use is consistent with their stated purposes) and Second, the dilution of the Validators by 80% for the purpose of funding the Infrastructure Escrow Fund

(1.2) 30% is held by the community members themselves -- workers, carpe miners, validators, etc. Here's a look at the distribution of equity before and after under the recommendation

(1.1) We are proposing a Final Supply solution that seeks to achieve a 70/30 allocation of project equity, where 70% of the total project equity is held collectively for ecosystem growth and development.
