yeah but gold is not crypto. A private key literally doesn't have to physically exist. It can be stored in your brain.
People that say "we need a right to bear digital assets" seem to not understand that there is plausible deniability in holding crypto. "Oh, your .eth name holds 10 ETH" - well, but what if I lost that private key just now? How could any of us know whether someone is in control of their crypto right now?
