I previously recommended Reap3r by Eliot Peper, which a few people on here seemed to enjoy. Well Eliot has now released a short story from the same world on Vice, written while he was rewriting large parts of Reap3r. https://www.vice.com/en/article/m7g94q/human-capital
Looks super cool! I’ve been looking for something like this with Doodles - have you seen this model applied elsewhere?
Anyone watched Cyberpunk: Edgerunners? Unless it’s Arcane level amazing, I’m not interested.
A 7!? 🤯 I felt wayyy behind on an 11 Pro. You are about to enter a whole new world.
I’ve had an Watch since launch, wearing it every day, and I’m currently rocking a Series 6. Before yesterday’s event, I was fully prepared to upgrade to the Series 8. Now, after comparing the differences, I don’t think there’s much reason to. That iPhone 14 Pro though… 😲
+1 to Google Flights
Loved it, such clarity and straightforwardness.
Has anyone with DALL-E access asked it what the iPhone 14 will look like?
My local gym just put up a huge section of new problems. Haven’t quite ventured out of the city yet for a real rock project. I started a few months ago so find I’m still building base strength and good form.
Boulder hard, eat well, walk the city. Don’t need much else.
What is it about that book in particular?
On your question to us: I’m still frustrated by lost casts - when I type in some content, swipe to another app for a url or something, come back and Farcaster has reloaded, the unsaved cast is gone. I know I could save to drafts before swapping apps but users be lazy.
100% agree with those two! I actually left my copy of T,F&S on a plane with 2 chapters left and bought a replacement as I was leaving the airport. I know some of T,F&S has been discredited now but I think it’s still incredibly thought provoking.
What book dramatically shifted your personal perspective on something? Recent ones for me include Breath by James Nestor (showed the huge impact breathing properly has on our bodies) and I Contain Multitudes by Ed Yong (having Crohn’s, this book directly improved my health).
My wife went nuts when I gifted her one. It was a very personal video way beyond what I expected from the celebrity (included 3x as long as I expected) - so I think it entirely depends on their ability to deliver. The notes you give the celebrity really matter.
If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend Breath by James Nestor. It gave me that same appreciation with some added science.
Maybe not contrarian in certain circles but likely contrarian to some in North America: capitalism is a force for good, the associated negatives come from 1) revealed consumer preferences and 2) regulatory capture created by governments.
You too - really like your Tourmaline!
Me too! https://www.fxhash.xyz/u/Murdo/collection Haven’t picked up anything in a while, got any nice recent purchases?
Tezos is an extremely underrated chain imo. Low gas, lots of NFT experimentation (especially with generative art), and now it’s own on-chain web publishing platform from the team behind fx(hash). https://www.fxhash.xyz/article/fx(text)
