That makes a ton of sense! I was looking into doing something similar myself a few months ago but I'd admit the deployment went a little over my head. Btw, awesome to see another Toronto based person here!
In 2023, is WordPress still a good option for websites/blogs, or are SSGs like Hugo, Gatsby, Jekyll the way to go? Or something else?
These pesky things like work and responsibilities are seriously getting in the way of my reading time. There's so many books to read and so little time per day!

😂 sometimes it hard to hold it in, especially with how adorable they are and how goofy they can look after a grooming
I've heard of this. A friend dealt wit this with their doggo. Apparently they can feel embarrassed when laughed at after a grooming session.
not particularly unique but QoL automations for someone with severe insomnia: - smart lights auto-adjust throughout the day to benefit my circadian rhythm rather than interrupt it - thermostat automations for living room + bedroom in evening/night - automated blinds blackout at night + let light flood in at sunrise

So many amazing answers in the thread. +10000 on a quality mattress and chair. A slightly less obvious one, insurance.
diggin the concept of Active Badge. i'm all for removing the vanity of typical checkmarks and introducing something more relevant. great thinking @dwr @v
This is the content I'm here for! Obsidian basically runs my life at this point.
I should adjust the wallpaper to match the colour of the dock to make it disappear completely but been too lazy to do so.
