when you find out that people from high school that you haven't seen in many years are also into crypto and going to eth denver 😅
the values are nice but at the end of the day I spend my time here because it's fun. vibrant internet culture (if you look in the right places), smart people, lots of opportunity, generally good vibes
(I’m not super involved in the governance side of things so there might be more - this is just what I see as an active contributor)
love to see it 🔥 any issues getting set up, or readme instructions covered most bases?
ENS DAO uses Discourse as a forum, Tally for on-chain voting, developed ensgrants.xyz for more efficient grant allocation, Metropolis for multi-sig management, sablier for streams, occasionally parcel.money for contributor payments. Probs missing a few 😅
Forgot to share here bc no video support, but I also made this today https://twitter.com/gregskril/status/1622333722270769152 Resolve ETH addresses to ENS names (and vise versa) in a Google Sheet for all you spreadsheetooors
ahh im probs on a newer node version globally, oops! I’ll specify package type and install node-fetch or something in the morning so its smoother for others
umm i guess just try running it from terminal like ‘node sharecaster.js’ type thing so it prints the error
directory the whole raycast-commands repo lives in /documents/raycast on my computer including package.json and stuff. You can just clone and npm i. In raycaster prefs > scripts > script commands, “Add Directories” and choose the /documents/raycast then it should work
I started when I saw this cast and just got accepted! ty for the inspiration
🫡 https://github.com/gskril/raycast-commands/blob/main/sharecaster.js Add this to the folder with your raycast commands and npm install for clipboard package
I recommend making a "raycast" folder somewhere on your computer to store all these scripts (and their dependencies if you use node for some). you can load them all into raycast together in preferences
It's a local "script command" not extension - easier to spin up, less easy to share but search "create script command" in raycast, choose these settings then it will create a file. this is my code https://github.com/gskril/raycast-commands/blob/main/web3-starter.sh
I just made a Raycast command that lets me spin up a new repo from my web3-starter template, clone it to my computer and open it in VS Code in < 5 seconds and I'm so excited
I meant more-so on the frontend side, like the "Ended" card here https://nouns.wtf/vote/217 I'm pretty sure the on-chain vote actually ended ~1 hour after the stated time
