They just need to implement 'forced txn inclusion' at L1, which would solve the problem by taking it out of their hands. This eventually has to happen anyway, just needs to be prioritized...

Matrix weirdly hasn't figured out SAML/OAuth, you occasionally have to enter your home server account password on other servers to login. Strange.

This is what I do with my Argent Vault. Was thinking about also adding Coinbase's MPC wallet as a signer along with ZenGo.

That being said having used both ecosystems, I don't find a UI UX between the flagships to be that different. At this point there will always be annoyances in both directions, for ex: https://youtu.be/JUy2DyDN7g4

With Android I can sideload different app stores, for example from Amazon or F-Droid. Amazon Fire devices, for ex., don't ship with the Google Play store. Windows Subsystem for Android now also ships with the Amazon store. I don't think Google has the same power to lockout ppl like Apple.

In the podcast, I linked above they pivot into claiming this is a good thing because "new nodes will be able to sync the chain faster" meaning they aren't downloading the NFTs, because no one actually is incentivized to keep that data, and confirming that Ordinals doesn't really do what they say it does.

The whole "store NFTs on chain" thing is actually a farce, nodes don't actually have to store the NFT because it's part of the witness data that nodes are expected to discard: https://warpcast.com/dfern/0x54be4c

I am reminded of the interpretation of blockchains as 'Truth Machines', a requirement to be internally consistent, and using cryptoeconomic incentives to bring oracle data on-chain. AI needs a cryptoeconomic feedback loop if it hopes to acheive real-world accuracy & not just follow gradient decent down to falsehoods.

Wait, so the point of Ordinals is to store the NFT on-chain...but they store it in the witness data which can be thrown away by a full node, so it's not part of the canonical chain. So how is this better than an a ERC-721 URI pointing to IPFS? I don't think it is. https://onthebrink-podcast.com/ordinals

Hmm, why is the CEO of Quora bullish on a tool to generate more SEO spam BS word salad that's plausible-sounding-enough that users aren't going to bother to check? 🤔🤔🤔 https://twitter.com/adamdangelo/status/1629926199832252416

My new Thinkpad T14s work laptop reminds me of my beloved X230 from college. Yet, thinner & lighter too. I'd buy one just for myself but I should probably build a desktop first...and my Gen 1 X1 Extreme still works fine (the 1st gen had/has terrible battery life, unfortunately).
