Joe & The Juice is a money laundering scheme: nobody goes in there and they have too many locations too close to each other relative to their popularity.

Excellent point...as long traditional passwords exist as backup auth, passkeys will not be a panacea. Web3 is already way ahead in nixing e-mail as the root of identity. https://twitter.com/OurielOhayon/status/1660569387877670913?s=20

And alas...an orb no matter how shiny...is not an oracle.

Predicted this 4 days ago, b/c this already happened in Proof of Humanity. Taking photos of a user's iris does not establish *any* trustless mapping to onto a private key. The Orb operator is just an oracle, and you're back to the classic oracle problem https://twitter.com/RyanJamesWeeks/status/1659279850916511745?s=20

Keysharding is good, but it should be done by smart contract wallets via key rotation. Hardware signers should remain impenetrable and shouldn't try to add 'social recovery' features. If Ledger had just launched a EIP-4337 wallet that works with the HW device...no issue.
