Just realized you can't actually trade Ordinals natively on BTC...this might be the saving grace of something like Coinbase NFT if they can pivot to adding Ordinals support. That being said, nobody would be surprised if this is a fad. https://twitter.com/DrNickA/status/1621877100524208131

Great episode. I was just thinking about how politiburo response to the Chinese Spy Balloon is an excellent example of kayfabe.

My prediction is that Sign-In with Ethereum will get more adoption than Passkeys / WebAuthn

You still rotate the key and pay gas fees. On L2s, it costs pennies. On L1, still worth paying for and beats a HW wallet on security

I'm mad at how clever the name '0xPARC' is for a ZK research org.

There's some consternation over Iris that they are trying to hide any mention of gundb: https://twitter.com/marknadal/status/1621256013310578690 That being said Nostr is just reinventing the wheel that Waku/gundb have been thinking about for longer than they have. Relaying messages is the easy part...anti-spam is hard.

Swarm is the underdog, so I am rooting for them. I'm also a fan of Waku/Whisper, which most people still haven't heard of.

Yeah, I heard about this...I think most apps will just stick to v1. Connecting a wallet should be a public good & table stakes, not an Avenue for rent extraction. Though I understand they have to build a business.

WalletConnect v1 was using Waku which is the successor to Whisper messaging protocol in the original Ethereum yellowpaper. WalletConnect v2 is post VC funding and seem like it will have a API payment model, which is a major downgrade IMHO. I will stick to v1.

Mostly I switched to it because I found others were too bloated, namely Pocket Casts, though it may have gotten better. Podcast Addict is also alright, but the UI is quite wordy & has ads.

Loved @dwr and @antonio on @MoZ. AI is playing tennis without the net.

EIP-712, which is what seaport signatures use, has domains but not in the browser URL sense, it identifies the smart contract the signature is valid for. This would help with simulators, since the sim knows where the sig is going.

What's the deal with the jet fuel? And why was this made into such a big contention that seems to have evaporated?

Selling a JSON credit card processing API doesn't impute a 2X valuation over your nearest competitor using SOAP XML. This is the difference between putting different πŸ’„ on tradfi cruft vs changing the paradigm.

Crypto and AI are both subfields of cybernetics. Both will rely on control theory/feedback and stochastic optimization to win. https://newsletter.banklesshq.com/p/ethereums-economic-engine
