Feels very choppy because all I want to do is simply scroll down to see the chain of responses
For response chains on threads, i have to keep pressing “show more” instead of scrolling down. (Example below)
You can probably also let the form spit out hyperlinks instead of pure text response to achieve the same results.
Similar for folks like @pmarca I’ve observed. For different reasons though I assume (busy)
I sparsely write on breakfast or medium, but find it difficult to write publicly unless it’s personal lol. Only form of argument that doesn’t need to be defended stems from personal experience and feelings 🤣
But yeah the link submission is a bit of a hassle. Why not let people type? My guess would be the storage complexity… I just submitted the link to essay.
Nah just a simple button that says “reply” for the tagged response. Would probably function as a reward collection mechanism as well.
@cameron when do you plan to have a form input for saymore responses?
Of course, I was doing this at the time because I was offered to work as employee #1 at copyai during college. Said no at the time because I thought any GPT based tools would be left defenseless if OpenAI struck a deal for too much money for exclusivity. Paul Yacobian is great founder though.
Using gpt to outline an essay for you is a hack, because the generated assertions are “generally accepted.” Taking it to the next level would be providing URLs to academically valid sources, supplementing the generated arguments. Picking the URLs and having it paraphrased would be the cherry on top.
