I like the login system compared to google & 1password I was HOPING to find some funding through the communities without getting wrapped up in making a dao or game items, haven’t quite figured that out yet. I have learned a lot about web3 technology and encouraged my online identity work as a loop in web3 social

A big reason why many economic systems succeed is a fair, just, and accessible financial and legal system. Most of the world does not have access to this. Web3 is our only solution. https://www.amazon.com/Why-Nations-Fail-Origins-Prosperity-ebook/dp/B0058Z4NR8

A lil mood board of my thoughts: • Fun • New • Lots of potential • Promising if UX meets today’s Web2 standards • Biggest and most obvious surface area in tech to generate and capture value from • Fun Did I say fun?

Among the primary potentials people cite, I'm also just really enjoying how it feels like a "cultural reset" of the existing internet back to the pre-WWW era. Experimental, quirky, hopeful, with an ethos substantive enough to attract its own differentiated community lovingly trying to build its success into permanency

Tbh I don’t like web3 a lot of the time and that’s because I really care about it I’m v justice and fairness motivated (even in the context of the insanity of existence) and think credibly neutral money legos are our best chance to shift society towards more positive sum games over time.

Purest free market = fastest evolution = fastest innovation (no safety net, replicates nature) Replace IP with shared infra and code Replace guns with math Doing the governance experiments necessary to fix meatspace governance - many more iterations using meme/VC money than could be risked in the real world

- building the protocols for a consensual web and eventually society - anti fragile financial system (designed for black swans) - everything is a market - communities can accrue funds for values other than profit - transparent charities (fix philanthropy)

People don’t chat about the interoperability enough. Being able to build on top of other applications without the fear of a rug pull is crucial. Imagine how powerful GPT would be if it was interoperable (and not just what they choose to share through the API)

Frankly, I enjoy the people that are comfortable with building into the unknown. They hold a somewhat counter-evolutionary trait (high risk) which leads to super interesting outputs.
