What book dramatically shifted your personal perspective on something? Recent ones for me include Breath by James Nestor (showed the huge impact breathing properly has on our bodies) and I Contain Multitudes by Ed Yong (having Crohn’s, this book directly improved my health).

My two would be… - A Short History of Drunkenness: I had no idea about the Gobekli Tepe and how humans likely started farming to make beer (http://zachwill.com/oldest-known-building/) - Island at the Center of the World: the backstory of NY as a Dutch colony is fascinating.
