Neither :) I have nearly all my apps deleted from home screen except the most important widgets - calendar, Sunsama - everything else is on the last iOS page - which serves up the apps I need at the times I need them
Left is organized by color? an even bigger wtf than the people who arrange their bookshelf by color
mine is a mix of both. I don’t give badging permission to most apps, but I just like my primary apps out and front.

Left side. Need the organization and hate seeing notification numbers. Need to get rid of them as soon as they pop up.
I wish there was a way to hide all your apps and just use the search query. Make the phone wallpaper more apparent. I never click on the app button.
