people who have gifted and received cameos - what were your thoughts? cool experience? felt cheap? something else?
had a mindblowing one from a bravo tv star for my fiancée and she loved it, showed it to all her friends, etc did one for my dad from his favorite cyclist and he was like 😐 overall cool and worth a shot. plus i like gifts that don’t take up physical space
My wife went nuts when I gifted her one. It was a very personal video way beyond what I expected from the celebrity (included 3x as long as I expected) - so I think it entirely depends on their ability to deliver. The notes you give the celebrity really matter.
Knew someone who is a big fan of HBO’s silicon valley and loved one from the Tres Commas guy
Also someone made one to celebrate team’s milestone at work and it was very well appreciated
I hired Anthony Scaramucci on Cameo at the bottom of the covid downturn; asked for stock market advice as a gift for my finance groupchat. Was amazing. In general I think if you ask good questions tailored to the celeb it’s awesome
