Recent personal system changes that have helped a lot physically and mentally - wake up/look at sunlight (Huberman) -> seriously, this helps. - one or two heavy weights sessions a week - focused long form reading time on weekends - try and avoid mindless scrolling at night time (much better sleep)
+1 to sunlight when wake up (no phone), and long form reading right before bed (physical magazine or book). Common thread is keeping your phone / screens out of the bedroom.
Can you elaborate on #1? Does this just mean you go outside? Does sitting in a room with natural light work?
For me, ~daily exercise first thing in AM has helped a lot (mostly because it forces me to sleep at a reasonable hour).
These are 👌 On a similar note, I have added a 5min stretch + Athletic Greens the moment I wake up and it has made a huge change on how I start my day.
as i've rather recently implemented point 1 and 4 i can tell from my own experience it helps a lot! working on the reading one. i usually wake up far before sunrise and then forget to step outside once it's up but aside works pretty well 😆
the wake up sunlight thing sounds like voodoo to me. yet i am doing it for two weeks and it is actually working
Sleep, water, work out, some mindfulness and decent food discipline.. ..is all it takes.. but the hardest part for me has always been food!
These are solid. I moved my phone from my bedroom and increased sleep quality dramatically.
