Starting to actually use web3 versions of web2 apps. Farcaster is crypto Twitter spatial.io is a crypto Zoom lu.ma is crypto Meetup/Eventbrite These apps are solid in their own right but also have web3 integration. What else we got?
@briang is building unlonely.app - streaming like Twitch, can take clips and mint them as NFTs
I'm building unjumble.xyz - it's a custom daily digest with content related to your wallet/preferences; will be integrating Farcaster / Lens / Paragraph too. Kinda like an RSS reader.
We’re building crypto Linkedin (but without the performance art). Curated group - about 500 builder/founders in there so far, getting support for what they’re building. Would love to send you an invite!

Thanks Balaji! I’m a founder of Luma :) We are really excited about how crypto can shape new types of communities and have built token gating and wallet integration for events.
paragraph.xyz is a web3 Substack. Permissionless & credibly neutral wherever possible: NFTs instead of subscriptions, Arweave instead of centralized storage, and integrations with Farcaster for better engagement & distribution.
nftychat.xyz is a web3 community chat platform meant to replace discord for crypto folks
building the402.xyz - crypto-enabled livestreaming. You can token-gate streams, mint NFTs via livestreams from other protocols/POAPs, collect livestreams as NFTs, tip with crypto, subscribe to your favorite channels wallet to wallet + more
beb.xyz The idea is earn.com but with decentralized domain names similar to how SMTP works e.g. From: [email protected] To: [email protected]
Mirror over Medium I like to think of it as “what web3 apps have made it onto my Home Screen and bumped the web2 version”. Right now, just FC and Phaver on Lens.
One could argue that Web3 Talks is the actionable web3 version of "How I built this?' :) https://web3talks.xyz/
nf.td is a web3 linktree, where you mint your username. It also has verified integrations with Gallery, Farcaster and Paragraph.
Controversial as it may sounds, I think we need to stop building web3 versions of web2 apps. The true innovation always replaces, and not extends incumbents. For example, social interaction is still to take off with unseen (and probably on-chain) ways to make friends and stay in touch.
