What tools are you using to manage your DAO?

There are many tools out there for smart contracts, most of which we partner with (Aragon, for example). Other than smart contracts, we use Catapult, Discourse, Request dot finance, Murmur, Notion, coordinape, and a few others I'm sure I'm missing 🧐

I have to say, i am a bit disappointed with the level of engagement in DAOs(Including Blue chips). Mostly are just figuring out stuff after the sudden shift in markets.

ENS DAO uses Discourse as a forum, Tally for on-chain voting, developed ensgrants.xyz for more efficient grant allocation, Metropolis for multi-sig management, sablier for streams, occasionally parcel.money for contributor payments. Probs missing a few 😅

discord/discourse/snapshot is the current most popular stack. that approach (chat, discuss, vote) is a skeuomorphic larp tho and will eventually be replaced by something much simpler and easier and native to the network

skimmed through the replies and didn’t really see anyone mention anything related to Treasury management. I expect non-custodial managed DeFi vaults like the ones we’re building at Sommelier to be go-to products for DAOs

For @fingerprints it’s a combination of - Discord (chat) with sesh (polls) + Vulcan (verification) - Discourse (forum) - Safe (vaults) - Snapshot (voting) - Parcel (payments) - Vercel (website) - sendgrid (email) - jotform (forms) - notion/google workspace (core team) However, tools really depend on the org design

Linear + whitelist + points Most things don’t need to be voted on, if it does need a vote 99/100 it requires domain expertise Points are awarded through tickets issued under Support, Test, Delivery modes. If you want to vote on something you need points, earn points by shipping product. Points = voice
