It gets recommended quite a lot, but if you haven't read Overstory was a life changing book for me. I couldn't believe how I had overlooked all the trees around me so much. Inspired me to start a side project learning about all the trees in Hawai'i: https://leafdb.org/

agreed…..I focus on opioidergic phytochemicals found in plants as well as other bio activity, dont know alot about plants per se frin a botany perspective but definitely have my niche interests

LMK what you want to know! I have a Masters degree in Plant Biology and went most of the way through a PhD in the same. …Amusingly, though, because my specializations were in modeling and remote sensing, all the plants I used in my research were in silico. Never actually touched grass for my plant bio work.
