I feel like Perl will benefit from putting this stuff outside the paywall. Not sure what bounce rate looks like but I’ve clicked a few of these not logged in and end up exing out. Think it would build brand muscle memory and loyalty if it was outside (think Reddit)
ty for the feedback! considered that but for now, conversion is important for us, and twitter auth is very simple now, so gonna keep it this way and see what happens % wise.
+1 and for me I even have an account! But my default browser on my phone is always in incognito so I can basically never click on my phone. Makes me use it 80% less.
+1 as well. Clicked through many times but bounced due to logging in friction (eg if I'm using a different browser, on mobile etc)
Appreciate the honest feedback. Alex and I will continue discussing balancing ease of use with conversion. Native mobile app will eliminate the getting logging out problem, but is a big investment when we’re still finding PMF
