FC client idea: Farlancer Freelancing marketplace (eg Fiverr) on FC. - freelancers associate their FC account with skillsets and work they’re seeking - companies post jobs & payrate; freelancers can apply in 1 click - everyone has eth address so payment happens on chain - reputation & verification tied to FC
Paycaster could facilitate easy exchange of value for just such a use case :) I have a pile of DD questions for a fintech provider, I just wrote out this exact use case this morning, you just helped my dad so much 🫡
Likey. 👏 How do you see this thing playing out with the fixed scheme for casts and cast types being gated? Will each app have its own hub ‘extension’ for app specific data and have to encourage other hubs to activate the extension? Or is it a do everything within a generic cast type? Or will we see n cast types?
Would be cool to see a decentralized job board protocol Cc @macbudkowski @davidh
Yep been thinking about building this for a while. Existing priorities give me no time. But I think about this regularly.
how could the reputation piece be built?... nfts from companies to people's linked wallets?... Building on the idea, "Farlancer" could integrate with Paragraph for this purpose, specially for skills associated with writing and/or curation... 🤔 or, even, any skill that can benefit from publishing long form content.
Reputation and POW can also be visualised on Phi Write about it here: https://web3adventures.beehiiv.com/p/philand-xyz
Actually did a small version of this where @kn made a GitHub bounty. Managed to solve a part of the bounty, got a little bit of ETH. But there was no one-click-experience yet. (Plus, we had to go through "what is your ETH address", which can be solved when the job board is FC-native.)
Especially in the early stages where quality of individuals interacting on the protocol are serious builders.
