the whole topic of amps is still confusing to me… maybe something to highlight in a FC broadcast?
Nothing really confusing to me, but a very small set of people I've invited asked me "why does it ask me to create a wallet" (and those are people in the web3 space already)
I wish the Discover page is showing a list of apps built on Farcaster rather than the NFT stuff, and one can interact with them via a built in web browser and sign in with Farcaster.
Invited non technical friends and for them it was the seed phrase. They misunderstood both what it was for and how important it was (and lost it). More personally, I still find threads hard to navigate.
can I attach more than one wallet? I think I can but not sure (my first day here) Also unsure about “direct cast” rules, is it like a setting to turn on and off or do both folks need to follow each other
Notifications seem inconsistent. I don’t trust the badge count.
Re-casting. Sometimes I see the same cast a few times in my feed because different people I follow re-casted it.
Seems like the name change is still settling in. Many responses talking about WC instead of FC. Not confusing but there are topics with uncertainty. Largely around the L1. eg Rent or own FNames? Governance over smart contract changes? Timing of mainnet deploy.
What can it do that twitter can't?

When FC moves to mainnet, will I be able to use my main ens eth address for FC? I can't figure out why a need a separate eth address pair, which I don't use for anything else. Does this have something to do with testnet? It made the onboarding process confusing for me. I also find it hard to explain to new users.Thanks

Oh just thought about another one that's Warpcast related, I can't figure out how to search for a NFT collection to find holders on Farcaster (for example I wanted to find Nouns and it's not in the Discover tab anywhere, so I went to a profile which I know has a Nouns to find it)
The onboarding / signing on non-warpcaster apps like Eventcaster, etc! Although I feel this will be a solved issue soon once the Sign-in-with-Farcaster feature is launched.

For me the role of “discover” and its centrality has been a bit confusing (esp at first). The use of the flame + placement feels like it wants to be a shortcut to “highlights”
once i'm in, feels very intuitive! logged in with a new wallet at first, no purchase of NFTs, as it's a business account. was friction getting through the first push to integrate NFT to profile, can't remember how i did it honestly. But as a business, don't necessarily want onchain activity visible.

I don’t really get the idea of using the seed phrase in a wallet to access other apps using the protocol. This feels like mixing abstraction levels. Like an L1.5 thing in between L1 and L2. You really expect me to put the FC seed phrase into a metamask type wallet to access dApps that build on FC? 😵💫
Sign up. When I'm going to present this to my Digital Marketing students things like getting permission, Eth wallets, linking to a Coinbase etc account is a lot of barriers and confusing to non Mining / Crypto aware people.
As someone with the initials “WW” I dig the W app icon, but I’m not a fan of the name ‘Warpcast’ The word warp has some unfortunate connotations. That’s about it… Great platform, The client could use a rebrand tho’
Someone shared a farcaster link that opened fine in a web browser but it was unclear how to get that to open in the warpcast app instead.

Im not confused about this, but I wish the "following" feed ranked casts, replies, and recasts in chronological order. I believe it was recently adjusted and im now rarely using the "highlights" feed. It feels like the top of the following feed is now mainly populated with content by the same users.

On the iPhone app I can’t seem to swipe as easily as on other apps. I find myself constantly re-swiping, finding that I have to get much closer to the edge of the screen, etc. Hope that helps! 👍

i love the platform, but, as a professional namer: the names. both farcaster and warpcast do not call one back. they cast one away. they do not beckon, cajole, entice. the names land like a hard bag of bricks on mashed potattention. together they’re not merely confusing but jointly and severally alienating
Minor pet peeve: Clicking on 'Show more' redirects me to a page with the additional replies, and doesn't load in the replies in-place. Mostly a UX issue that can be resolved.
How do I access my drafts on mobile?😅 For some reason I expected it to function similar to Twitter that when I hit cast, I can see unsent casts. Also, the first time I hit the image/media button I expected it to also give access to videos.
